Congratulations to E-Man: WINNER of The "Killin' Em" Contest!!

AND THE WINNER IS....

E-Man was OFFICIALLY crowned the Winner of The "Killin' Em" Contest this past week with nearly 200 votes on his behalf. It wasn't an easy decision for the voters either, because his competition was close behind, but the people have spoken... As the winner of The "Killin' Em" Contest, E-Man will be awarded his winning verse as the featured, spotlight artist on the upcoming "Light Up The Darkness Mixtape" presented by Fresh. His upcoming project will also be advertised and promoted by The Freshmen Team themselves to help spread the word and talents of E-Man.

The Newest Release off the upcoming "Light Up The Darkness Mixtape" is growing more and more popular by the day. Spreading to more and more Freshmen across Campus at a very rapid rate. This is the first single off of Fresh's anticipated mixtape which is followed by the success of his previous mixtape "Unusual Suspect". "Unusual Suspect" was Fresh's first WIDELY release mixtape and has gone on to produce over 1100 Downloads in only a short period of time.

"Light Up The Darkness (The Mixtape) is a demonstration for my fans & critics of my diverse lyrical and creative styles" Fresh says. "I want people to see the more "rugged", grittier side of my creativity, while also capturing the attention of my more mainstream audience to help promote "The Lost In Transition EP". I am a fan of all music, but I live and breathe through Hip Hop, RnB, Rock & Pop. I will break into mainstream radio one day and these are just the bricks I am laying in front of me on the pathway to that. I have a plan and a vision and feel very confident in what I have set out to achieve."

Fresh has not yet set a release date for his projects, but expects "Light Up The Darkness The Mixtape" to be released by mid summer 2011 and "The Lost In Transition EP" to be released by late summer or early fall 2011.

Freshman Year: Episode 3 "Actor/ Rapper"

Here is the Third Episode of the Online Series, "Freshman Year". A brief look into the life and hustle of the Recording Artist & Actor, Fresh aka Cody Parr.

Fresh takes control of his EP by recording the very FIRST songs "When Can I Be Me" & "Out of My Mind". Fresh takes us through the struggles and inspirations for both songs and defines what they mean to him as a songwriter. But, not only does he share his experience in the Studio, he also shares his journey as the leading role on the new TV Pilot; "Coyotes" Take a behind the scenes look at the Cast & Crew with Cody and briefly explore what it's really like behind the camera.

Go Behind The Camera on Cody's 2nd TV Pilot 'Coyotes'. He plays the leading role of "Carlos", a Mexican/ American Senior in High School who's sole mission is to just be a teenager. That is never the case though, because of the business his mother and father run. They smuggle immigrants into the United States and Carlos is bound by the obligation to his family to help see that they succeed.
