Rise & Grind Freshmen!!!

It has been a few months since I last blogged...For that, I apologize. I am back to it and working harder than ever. Since the last time I updated you, a lot has happened.

1. I am no longer affiliated with Beautiful Noize Entertainment.

For business reasons, I had to make the harsh decision to leave BNE and continue my journey alone. I wish nothing but the best for them and I hope all of you continue to keep up with their movement. They are a great group of people and make amazing music.

2. "Unusual Suspect" The Mixtape was Released and has made QUITE a bit of noise amongst Fans and Industry people alike.

The mixtape had to be pushed back from its original release date and wasn't really up to my standards.. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I wasn't able to have all the songs on the Mixtape that I had originally planned and some of the ones that did make the cut, were not fully mastered the way I had hoped they would. All in all, it was released and regardless of how I felt about it at the time, I am over it now and the Fans have really taken a liking to it. "After Party" was the first single release off the Mixtape and is being sold on Itunes and IN STORES at Best Buys across the Country. It is apart of the Moofaces Records Compilation Chart Mix Volume 1. "After Party" has since been in steady rotation in one of my Hometown's, Bend, OR and is Scheduled to be put in rotation here in Los Angeles, CA as well as Portland, OR before 2011 hits. You can also find "After Party" on the "Sheikh Music Mixtape Volume 1" Presented by DJ Carisma and Hosted by Yesi Ortiz from the World Famous Radio Station Power 106. You can find that at your Local Sheikh Shoes.

3. I opened up for my First Major RnB Artist; Mario.

What a blessing it was to open for Mario for my VERY FIRST performance in Portland, OR. Portland is so unique man. The crowd is incredible! Unlike any other city I have ever been before. The energy was unbelievable and to hear THAT many people chant "FRESH", over and over was one of the most rewarding feelings I have ever had. I sold more tickets than any 2 of the other opening acts which made me feel amazing considering My team and I did it in only 2 days. We were GRINDIN'! I am now being considered to open up for Audio Push on Dec. 30, 2010 as well as scheduled to open for Omarion in January.

4. I Auditioned for BET's 106th & Park again in Portland, OR.

It was a cold and wet morning as my father and I showed up for the sound check. I met MANY amazing artists, but in the end, only 2 rappers were chosen and I was not one of them. I WAS however recognized by the Creator and Casting Director of the show, Pat Charles, on my performance in which he stated "You're good, just not for this type of show. Maybe an MTV Spring Break kind of thing." Now, I sincerely appreciate the courtesy to even acknowledge me and give public feedback of my performance and style, but wasn't so thrilled about some of the comments he had made on his paper about me. I will not state what they said, but to summarize my feelings and thoughts, I know for a fact that 106th & Park as well as most ANY New York City crowd, would enjoy my music/ performance. What's done is done, I am not mad, just a bit disappointed. I WILL, however find a new path to land myself on that stage and many like it.

5. I was the ONLY Returning Contestant from the Rip The Mic 2009 Contest to make it to the Grand Finale for the Rip The Mic 2010, which was sponsored by Reebok and Def Jam Recordings.

Yes, I auditioned for Rip The Mic 2010 and YES, I did make the finals again. But once again, was not able to prevail as the CROWNED winner of the competition. Dizzy D Flashy, From Las Vegas, NV was chosen as the winner for the Hip Hop Artists and Jon Doe, From Los Angeles, CA was the winner for the RnB. I was very blessed to have been chosen as a finalist again, because I was once again positioned to meet a lot of new up and coming artists from all over the country. I believe Dae Bogan at Sheikh Music has created something amazing for many future Hip Hop & RnB artists. Rip The Mic will only continue to grow and I cant wait to see what they have in store for it in years to come.

FINALLY,

I am currently working on 2 Music Projects Simultaneously. One being my next mixtape, which I will give away for free and the other being my Debut EP, which will be sold at each performance as well as sold Digitally. Both titles, as of now, are Undetermined, but as soon as they have names, you'll know. For the Mixtape, I plan to release new songs individually, leading up to the release of the EP which I am hoping can be finished by March 2011.

I am also currently working on new acting roles as well as writing a Television Pilot and several comedy sketches which will be brought to life through my YouTube Channel.

This should bring you up to speed on the Majority of what has been going on in the developments of my career. I will continue to keep you updated more frequently now that I have a functioning computer.

ALL GOOD THINGS,

FRESH
